HEMA Jerusalem

HEMA Jerusalem is the branch of the Knights of Jerusalem club specializing in Italian Renaissance fencing.

The club holds regular training sessions in the Talpiot neighborhood of Jerusalem, led by Denis Zlatopolsky, a professional HEMA instructor.

Our practice includes both the spada a due mani (two-handed sword) and spada da lato (sidesword), based on Achille Marozzo’s Opera Nova, as well as work with the spadone (the biggest sword).
